Carol Miller of Aurora, IL - beloved matriarch, award-winning quilter, and renowned baker, passed away on May 3, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Born on January 30, 1933, in Aurora, Illinois, she was the cherished daughter of Axel and Eloise Tebell. Carol was preceded in death by her siblings, Arthur, Charlotte, Ruth, and her twin brother Carl.

Carol was a devoted member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where her faith and compassion touched many lives. Her culinary talents were legendary, with her baking skills bringing joy to countless gatherings and celebrations. In addition to her baking prowess, Carol's quilting skills garnered recognition, earning her numerous awards and admiration from her community.

Carol is survived by her children: Dean (Nickie), John (Candy), Jane and Eric (Jenny), who will forever cherish her memory. She leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth to her seven grandchildren: Ann (David), Amy (Carlos), Rob (Cady), Rebecca (Braulio), McKenzie (Carlton), John (Blair), Wyatt, and her eight great-grandsons: Oliver, Miguel, Edgar, Emilio, Bastiàn, Rafael, Theo, and Roy.

Carol's kind heart, creative talents, and delicious treats will be dearly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace, her spirit forever alive in the hearts of those who loved her. Carol reunites with her husband of 65 years, Wayne Miller, in heaven.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 2:00 P.M. until time of Memorial Service 3:00 P.M. at St. Paul Lutheran Church 85 S. Constitution Drive Aurora, IL 60506. Inurnment will be held privately at Lincoln Memorial Park, Aurora, IL.
