Carol Ann Balfe Obituary

Carol Ann Balfe (née Jordan), beloved wife of Joseph B. Balfe, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025. She was a loving mother to John R. "Randy" Grebel (Sandi) and Daniel P. Grebel (Carrie), Monica Murphy, and a cherished grandmother to Lily, Andrew, Lucy, and Amanda. Carol was also the dear sister of Robert Jordan (Linda) and a proud aunt to Kerri and Jason.

Born on June 15, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, Carol was the daughter of Carol and Percy Jordan. She deeply loved her older brother Bob, her sons Randy and Danny, and found immense joy in being "Gram" to her four "grands".

Carol had a lifelong passion for gardening, delighting in making the world around her more beautiful. She also found joy in the simple pleasures of life—scouting out treasures at garage sales and spending creative time at quilt camp.

She nurtured her family and friendships as she did her garden—with love, patience, and quiet strength. Her life was a reflection of care and grace, a well-tended garden in full bloom. Now, she rests in the eternal peace and radiant light of God's presence.
