Richard L. Carnes, 68 years, of Yorkville, IL, died Monday, June 24, 2013 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born April 21, 1945 in Monmouth, IL to the late William H. and Frieda M. nee Valeu Carnes. Richard proudly served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Army from 1965 to 1967. He worked many years as a carpenter. He is survived by his Fiancée Patty Kufrin of Yorkville, IL, daughter Urania Clarks of Sandwich, IL, Son Anthony (Brenda) Carnes of Plattville, IL, Grandchildren Sgt. Edward (Jennifer) Henry of Alaska, J. J. Clark of Sandwich, IL, Stephen Clark of Sandwich, IL, Santana Clark of Sandwich, IL, Great-grandchildren Katherine Clark of Sandwich, IL, Brantley Henry of Alaska. He was preceded in death by his parents, the late Linda Carnes, and many brothers and sisters. Cremation was performed at the request of the family.
