Carlos Avila, age 58, of Oswego, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at Edwards Hospital in Naperville, Illinois. He was born on May 26, 1962 in Mexico, the son of Francisco and Maria nee Penaran Avila. Survived by his wife Margarita nee Maldonado Avila and his son, Jose Carlos (Zaira) Avila Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 4:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the Dunn Family Funeral Home with Crematory, 1801 South Douglas Road, Oswego, Illinois 60543. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 125 North State Street, Aurora, Illinois 60505. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Aurora, Illinois. Due to current restrictions a limited number of guests will be allowed in the funeral home at a time, the family asks that you pay your respects in a timely fashion.
