Donald M Butera, age 61, of Yorkville, IL died Wednesday, May 14, 2014 surrounded by his loving family at his residence.He was born November 2, 1952 in Chicago, IL the son of the late Marion J and Wanda M nee Kurjanski Butera. Don adored his family and loved the game of golf. A proud member and card holder of the PGA, his talent and humor on the course will be missed. Don is survived by his wife Regina "Gina" nee Mahan Butera, (Whom he married on June 4, 2005 in Libertyville, IL), two sons Johnathan (Amanda) Butera of Round Lake, IL, Alexander Butera of Chicago, IL, a stepdaughter Regi (Jeff) Olson of Yorkville, IL, a stepson Adam Canale of Mount Prospect, IL and three grandchildren; Mia Sosa, Joseph Olson, Michael Olson and sister Carol (Hans) Voitl of Bartlett, IL, his niece Shealeigh and nephew Ben. Visitation will take place on Monday, May 19, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 Douglas RoadOswego, IL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at 10:00 AM at St Patrick Catholic Church 406, Walnut St., Yorkville, IL.
