Bruce W. Mayhugh, 68, of Montgomery, died suddenly and unexpectedly at his home on Monday, August 26, 2019. He was born July 8, 1951 in Harrison, Arkansas, son of the late Jimmy W. and Mary Jo (Casey) Mayhugh. Bruce was an Army veteran of Viet Nam, serving two tours, and was awarded the Bronze Star for valor. He was an avid war gamer, and spent the last 40 years as a historical reenactor of various time periods and sis hundreds of historical presentation to school children. Bruce is survived by his wife, Margaret "Morgan" Mayhugh of Montgomery; his sister-in-law, Catherine Wolfe of Shelbyville, KY; his nephew Jason, and his wife Bethany Wolfe; great niece, Lyla Wolfe and great nephew, Travis Wolf, all of LaGrange, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents.
