Bruce Michael Chaplin, age 67, of Aurora, IL died on Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL.

He was born December 30, 1955, in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Henry and Valerie nee Berczyn Chaplin.

Bruce was employed as a truck driver for Oberweis Dairy in Aurora, IL for many years. He served his country honorably with 101st Airborne Division of the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict.

Bruce is survived by his wife Carrie nee Ligas Chaplin, a son Justin Chaplin, three sisters Kathy McManus, Nancy (Ron) George, Kim (Victor) Faszczuk, two brothers John Chaplin, Ronald (Cindy) Chaplin, also many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 13, 2023, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 Douglas Road, Oswego, IL.

A gathering on Friday, July 14, 2023, from 12:00 Noon until the departure time of 1:00 PM for Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
