Brent E. Pearson, 61, of Sandwich, IL passed into the loving arms of Jesus on Saturday, June 14 after a long illness. Brent was born on October 27, 1963, to Charlie and Jennie (nee Harrison) Pearson.

He was a member of Fox River Lutheran Church, in Sheridan, IL. A master carpenter by trade, Brent was known by many in the community for his cabinetry, building, remodeling, and handyman skills. He owned BNB Carpentry & More for the past several years. He also loved working in restaurants cooking delicious meals for people at different times of his life.

Brent grew up in Aurora, IL. and attended Aurora schools but moved to Sandwich with his wife after building a home for them in 2004. He married Brenda (nee Kahle) Pearson in Yorkville, IL. on August 14, 2004, after a long courtship and they spent the last 20 years together making a lot of fun memories traveling and going on family outings. Summers were spent in the Northwoods of Wisconsin where he enjoyed working in the woods and going boating and fishing with his family. Over the years Brent collected and read comic books, enjoyed playing card games with friends, was a good bowler, loved Marvel movies, and listening to country music. He was a friend to many and will be sorely missed. His easy going and laid-back personality made it easy for him to get along with others. Although his life was short, his memory will last a lifetime. He is deeply loved by his family and friends.

Brent is survived by his wife Brenda, devoted and caring daughters Elizabeth (Dumplin) Pearson and Grace (my little buddy) Pearson, his "boys", Kirby and Scooter, his sweet mother, Jennie Pearson of Belmont, MS., loving sibings, David Pearson of Belmont, MS., Tammy (Russell) Glass of Montgomery, IL., Rosie Kearns of Belmont, MS., as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Brent was preceded in death by his father, Charlie Pearson of Aurora, IL., maternal grandparents Mattie and Buster Arnold, and paternal grandparents Dock and Quay Pearson, all from Mississippi.

Memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, June 24, at Fox River Lutheran Church, 2785 US-52, Sheridan, IL. 60551, from 10:00 am until service at 12:00 pm. Fellowship luncheon to follow.

Burial will be private.
