Brenda Kay Dolan of Yorkville, IL, formerly of Aurora, IL passed away unexpectedly at Copley Hospital on Friday September 26, surrounded by those she loved. She was born on May 9, 1957 in Aurora, IL, the daughter of the late Lyle Eugene Own, and Joyce Rogers nee Cunningham. She moved around a bunch as a child before settling back in Illinois where she met the love of her life. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She was mostly a stay at home mom, taking care of all those she loved. She moved to Yorkville in 2015 to be closer to her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years Jody Dolan, children Joshua James (Valentina) Dolan, Trisha Ann (Louis) Arch nee Dolan, Justin Jordan (K.C.) Dolan, grandchildren Alyssa Dolan, Jeremiah Dolan, Louis Arch Jr, Lincoln Arch, Julian Johnson, Ariel Dolan, and Melody Dolan, and many other extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Lyle Owen, and Neal Owen, and nephew Neal Owen Jr.

A celebration of life will take place on November 8, from 2:00-6:00pm at The Oaks, 2245 Kennedy Rd Bristol, IL. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Foundation for Women's Cancer, 620 N La Salle Dr, Chicago, IL 60654.
