Bounkong Thephavong, age 66, of North Aurora, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2023.

Kong kept busy with various projects around the house and loved spending his free time traveling and creating new memories with his wife and children but most importantly being a grandpa to his grandchildren.

He was born on May 12, 1957 in Pakse, Laos. Kong made his journey with his wife to the US in 1980 and was employed with Bison Gear and Engineering for over 25 years.

Kong is survived by his wife Phouthamaly, daughter Diana (Angel), son Jeffrey (Judy) and 6 grandchildren: Isaiah, Devon, Alana, Aria, Luna and Aidan along with 2 sisters, brother and sister in-laws and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 4:30 PM until 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 2:00 PM. Both services will be held at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY located at 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543.
