Bonnie L. Tinker (Hunter) passed away, at the age of 70, on January 19, 2018. She died peacefully surrounded by her family and best friend, Debbie Conterato. Bonnie was born in Mendota, Illinois, on January 16, 1948. She was a graduate of West Aurora High School, and was a dedicated Ball Horticultural Company employee for 12 years until her retirement in 2012. Bonnie will be most remembered for her love of birds, gardening, flowers, and cooking. Her love of family and friends will always be treasured. Left to cherish her memory are husband of 38 years, Thomas, son Harold "JR" (Barbara) Tinker of Ewing, Illinois. Her mother-in-law Helene Kain of Oswego, Illinois, her brother Earl Paul, Jr. of Tomahawk, Wisconsin, her sister Lyda (Dennis) Schmidt of Aurora, Illinois. Three granddaughters, Carol (Joseph) Richter of Simpsonville, South Carolina, Rebecca Tinker of Springfield, Missouri, and Kimberly Tinker of Ewing, Illinois, and two great grandchildren. Her nieces, Kristin (Ben) Tonner of Hoover, Alabama, and Kelli Schmidt of Aurora, Illinois, one uncle, John Paul of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and many cousins. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Marjorie Paul, Sr., her father-in-law Harold, grandparents, and several aunts and uncles. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM with a Memorial Service starting at 7:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL. The Reverend Jerome Leake will officiate. Bonnie's family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff of Journey Hospice for the excellent care they provided.
