Bonita Lucille Gleason, age 85 years of Oswego, IL., formerly of Kewanee, IL, died Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Bickford Senior Living in Oswego, IL. She was born July 25, 1933 in Kewanee, IL the daughter of the late Reuben and Louise (nee Heinrich) Lindstrom. She married Eldon L. Gleason on March 11, 1956 in Kewanee, IL. Bonita worked as a secretary at BRK Electronics prior to her retirement. She is survived by her children, Thad Martin (Kathryn) Gleason of Oswego, IL, Beth Louise (Mike) Crackel of Oswego, IL, Dean Michael Gleason of Oswego, IL, Scott Mitchell (Sally) Gleason of Garden Grove, CA, Mark Marshall (Shelley) Gleason of Galena, OH and Amy Lynn (Paul) Tomlinson of Montgomery, IL; six grandchildren, Justin Gleason, Todd (Casey) Crackel, Stephanie (John) Maertzig and Bradley (Morgan) Crackel, Mitchell and Nicholas Gleason; and three great grandchildren, Elliana and Audrey Crackel and Easton Maertzig; one brother Lloyd (Dolores) Lindstrom; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bonita was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Eldon L. Gleason; her parents; and two brothers, Earl and Ken Lindstrom. Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Pleasant View Cemetery, Kewanee, IL. Pastor Kevin Drane will officiate.
