Blanche (Placek) O'Toole, 86, of Montgomery, IL, passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Season's Hospice.
She was born September 20, 1930 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Placek. She was united in marriage to Pat on December 29, 1951 in Berwyn, IL. They were one of the first settlers of Boulder Hill where they lived for over 55 years.
Blanche was active in her children's activities including room mother and scouting. She was a devoted member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Oswego. Blanche and Pat enjoyed family get-togethers and traveling all over the world.
Blanche is survived by her children: Cathy (Bob) Spencer, Tim (Lynn) O'Toole, Sue (Dan) Carlson and Maggie (Steve) Booth, 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 3 nieces, 3 nephews and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Pat, 2 sisters Helen and Marian and 1 great-granddaughter.
Visitation will take place on Monday, May 15, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL, 60543. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Anne Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL 60543. Burial will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Aurora, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Anne Catholic Church, P.O.
