Blanca Irma Virginia Rios Cuevas, age 84, passed away at her residence on Monday, March 27, 2023.

She was born in Edcouch, TX the daughter of the late Faustino Rios and Maria Luisa Gutierrez.

Blanca was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Aurora, IL, where she was a eucharistic minister and lector. She loved to garden, play senior beanbag baseball at the Prisco Center in Aurora, IL, and cook and bake goodies for her family.

She is survived by her loving children Oscar Cuevas, Gustavo (Alma) Cuevas, Cesar (Austin) Cuevas, grandchildren Gabriela (Anthony) Silvera, Devyn Cuevas, Dylan Cuevas, Kiara Rodriguez, great-grandchildren Ezekiel Rodriguez, Zendaya Rodriguez, Alieza Rodriguez, sister Maria Esperanza Cuevas, and brothers Salvador (Susan) Rios and Gilberto (Rita) Rios and many nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Efren Davila Cuevas, her daughter Amanda, her sister Maria Luisa Rodriguez and brother Dagoberto Rios.

Family and friends can gather on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 9:00 AM until a Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 125 North Street, Aurora, IL.

Inurnment will take place at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Aurora, IL.
