Beverly I. Wiza passed away peacefully at home with her granddaughters Kari and Karla by her side on September 21, 2026, at the age of 87. She was born April 17, 1939 in Evergreen Park, Illinois.

She loved her family, the Chicago Bears, sweet wine, fishing and sitting on the porch watching her hummingbirds. She was beautiful, funny, sweet, and spicy.

Married to the love of her life Francis "Frank" L. Wiza Jr. they had 52 wonderful years together before he went to the Lord. She decided it was time to reunite with him in heaven. Together they raised two children Sherry (Daniel) Shilney and Francis (Laura) Wiza III. She was blessed with seven grandchildren whom she adored: Karla (Sean) Hansen, Daniel Shilney, Kari (Adam) Dyer, Douglas (Brittany) Shilney, Francis ( Natalie) Wiza IV, Drake (Esther) Wiza, and Lance Wiza. She was the proud great-grandma to eleven amazing kids: Aiden Molero-Shilney, Caleb and Paisley Dyer, Declan and Elliott Hansen, Kylie Kofoid and Francis Wiza V, Lydia and Daniel "Duke" Shilney and Leopold and Theresa Wiza.

Beverly was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Steve "Butch" Zager, who meant the world to her. Their bond was one of love, strength and cherished memories.

Additionally, she is survived by her sister -in-law Janet Zager, nephews Steve (Carolee) Zager and Chris (Christie) Zager, niece Tracy (Chip) Reaves as well as five great-nephews who will hold their memories of her close to their hearts.
