Beverly D. Lombardi, age 86, of Oswego, IL, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. She was born June 7, 1934 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late William Atkinson and Emma Carlson. Beverly enjoyed traveling all over the world and the U.S., but especially loved Europe and the Caribbean. She bounced around the country, having lived in California, South Carolina and Florida prior to settling in Oswego. When she had free time, it was spent in her garden, where she tried to grow the perfect rose bush. During this past year, her greatest pleasure came from spending time with her family and her great-granddaughters. Mom will be greatly missed more than she will ever know and now she can have all the candy she wants along with that perfect rose. She is survived by her sons, Patrick Lombardi of Lake in the Hills, IL, James Lombardi of Oswego, IL., grandchildren, and great-granddaughters Eloise and Lakelyn. She was preceded in death by her parents, a step-father Buddy Carlson and her husband Raymond Lombardi. All services will be private.
