Betty J Wendling, age 90, of Oswego, IL died Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Seasons Hospice in Naperville, IL. She was born February 15, 1925 in Kendall County, IL the daughter of the late Floyd and Marion nee Poss Hartman. Betty was a former president of the Montgomery School PTA and she served as the water clerk for the Village of Montgomery for seventeen years. She enjoyed square dancing, bowling, gardening, picking strawberries and canning tomatoes. Betty is survived by her husband Allan (Whom she married on September 13, 1947 in Wheaton, IL) two sons Larry (Ann) Wendling of St Paul, MN, Gary (Penelope) Wendling of Oswego, IL, four grandchildren Lisa Wendling, Sara Sondermann, Matthew (Kirsten) Wendling and Laura Yoo. She was preceded in death by a sister Shirley Hartman and brother Clifford Hartman. Visitation will take place on Friday, April 10, 2015 from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 11:30 AM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 Douglas Rd Oswego, IL.
