Betty G. (Livingston) Thiess of Montgomery, IL, was born in Davenport, Iowa. She was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on August 1, 1943 and was an active member until her death. She was married to Wilber Thiess on October 14, 1972 and they were united in marriage for 27 years until his death. Betty retired from the phone company and was known for being generous to family and friends and loving to small animals. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 sisters June and Zelda and 2 brothers Leonard and William. She is survived by the remaining Livingston family members who include: Alberta Livingston (who was married to Leonard) a niece, Beverly Livingston Pendgraft (who has three children: Joshua, Sam and Susie) another niece, Peggy Livingston Pleskovich (who has 2 children: Eli and Christopher, who passed) and a nephew, William Livingston (who has 2 children; Chad and Nona). She will be missed and was loved by many. A visitation will held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 from 1:00 PM until a memorial service at 2:00 PM at Kingdom Hall - Jehovah's Witnesses, 261 Ashland Avenue, Aurora, IL 60505.
