Betty Gunier Morey, born March 14, 1924 passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021. Mrs. Morey was born to Grace Larson Gunier and Raymond John Gunier in Sheridan, IL. She married Thomas R. Morey on March 5, 1949 in Sheridan, IL. He passed away May 8, 2001. She graduated from Serena High School, class of 1942. She retired from the Sheridan Post Office with 23 years of service as a clerk. She was a member of the Sheridan Historical Society and the Robert W. Rowe Public Library of Sheridan. She is survived by niece Brenda Lee Walker and nephew Brad J. (Brenda Jean) Gunier and many great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brother Robert R. Gunier, nephew Robert Brent Gunier, niece Darla Ann Gunier and sister-in-law Darlene Gunier. Memorials may be made to Robert W. Rowe Library in Sheridan, IL or any charity of the donor's choosing.
