Betty Jane Ivemeyer, 88 years, of Oswego, IL died Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at Seasons Hospice in Naperville, IL. She was born February 17, 1933 in Aurora, IL the daughter of the late Harry Frank and Phobee Adelyne nee Miller Kline. Betty was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd in Oswego, IL. Prior to her retirement she was employed as a waitress at the Aurora Moose Lodge, The Office, House of Plenty and the Oswego American Legion. Betty is survived by children Donald Ivemeyer, Montgomery, IL, Paula (James) Ode, Oswego, IL, James (Sandi) Ivemeyer, Sandwich, IL, Cynthia Joplin, Virginia, Susan (Randy) Chapman, Sandwich, IL; grandchildren Kevin Ode, Kristy Hyett, Ryan (Megan) Ivemeyer, Gary Joplin III, Belinda Joplin, Shephanie (Brandon) Haish, Donny Chapman; great grandchildren Allison (Joe) Gregory, John, Alexis, Savannah and Shawn Hyett, Emily and Isabel Ode, Riley and Theo Ivemeyer, Allexis, Alissa, Addelyn and Jackson Chapman, Ary Joplin; great great granddaughter Scarlett Gregory. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul Ivemeyer. Cremation will take place followed by a private family graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Lincoln Memorial Park in Oswego, IL.
