Betty Ann Henning, age 80, of Oregon, WI, formerly of Oswego, IL, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Agrace Hospice in Madison, WI. She was born January 24, 1934, the daughter of Wayne and Effie nee Pierce Fuller.
She was a 1954 graduate of the Copley School of Nursing and worked for 35 years at Copley Hospital in Aurora, IL. Betty was able to travel the world as a volunteer with Alole Trek Tours. She as a member of the Knitters Guild in Madison, WI and volunteered as a nurse at the American Girl Doll Hospital.
Betty is survived by her daughter Kelly (Mike) Scholz of Fitchburg, WI, son Robert Scholz of Sandwich, IL, grandson Jacob Scholz of Fitchburg, WI, brother Lyle (Nancy) Fuller, sisters Zan (Bob) Wanger, Linda Franks, Cherie (Jim) Craig, and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Robert Henning (whom she married on May 14, 1954) and brothers Dean Fuller and Duane Fuller.
Betty's family would like to thank the 8 Tower staff at Meriter Hospital and the staff of Agrace Hospice, both in Madison, WI.
A visitation will take place on Monday, January 26, 2015 from 10:00 AM until the funeral service at 1:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543.
