Betsy L. Sutcliff, age 77, of Montgomery, IL, passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at Seasons Hospice Center in Naperville, IL. She was born September 30, 1938 in Earlville, IL, the daughter of Roy Edward and Edith Frances nee Greyer Kossert. Betsy worked many years as a bus monitor for Oswego Transportation. She enjoyed gambling at Harris Casino and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a diehard fan of the Chicago Cubs and Bears and will continue to root for them up in heaven. She is survived by her husband Dennis Russel Sutcliff of Montgomery, IL, daughter Debbie (David) Fair of Montgomery, IL, granddaughters Sandy (Bob) Carey of WI, Susan (Mark) Alsip of Montgomery, IL, Samantha (George) Pilgrim of Joliet, IL, great-grandchildren Zeke, Zoe & Liam Carey, Brandon & Trinity Alsip, D.J. & Dustin Ramey, Paiton, Bryce and Jorja Pilgrim, all at home. She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister Joan Marie Sellars and brothers Marvin and Roy Edward Kossert. Cremation was performed in accordance to family's wishes.
