Beth M. Dhuse (née Lindenmeyer), 89, of Oswego, IL, died on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Michaelsen Health Center in Batavia, IL. She was born March 20, 1935 in Aurora, IL, to the late Martin L. and Mildred E. Lindenmeyer (née Weis).
Beth was confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Aurora, IL, and was then a long time member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Aurora, where she was a member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League for 39 years. She was a graduate of East Aurora High School. After helping build the house that she lived in (for 69 years!), she grew vegetables and flowers – the flowers both inside and outside the house. She was a Den Mother for Pack 363 of the Cub Scouts of American, worked as a substitute aide on the Oswego Special Education school buses for 9 years, provided alterations at her home for many years, and in her spare time she volunteered for many organizations throughout the years. Retirement allowed yearly winter trips to Arizona to visit family and friends. She leaves a neighborhood of friends who will miss her as well.
She is survived by her three sons, Paul R. (Elizabeth) Dhuse, Jon M. (Judy) Dhuse, and Timothy H. (Becky Williams) Dhuse; three grandchildren, Caitlin, Ian, and Christopher (Anna) Dhuse; sister Nancy (Gary) Anderson and brothers Michael (Janice) Lindenmeyer and Steven (Pam) Lindenmeyer; and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and -nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Ruoff H. Dhuse.
A memorial service will be held on December 20, 2024 at 10AM at Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 550 4th Avenue, Aurora, IL, 60505 followed by interment at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery, Aurora.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on December 21, 2024 from 2-5PM at Dunn Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1801 Douglas Road, Oswego, IL.

Memorial Service will be held at a later date in both Illinois and South Dakota
