Bertha Mae Shackelford, age 80, of Aurora, IL died Thursday, July 28, 2016 at ManorCare in Naperville, IL. She was born November 19, 1935 in Huntsville, AL the daughter of the late William H and Katie Jo nee Sharp Cavender and step-father Reuben A Moore.. She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church in Calumet City, IL. She is survived by her daughter Rhonda (Michael) Trebotich, son Mark (Phillip DeLaFuente) Shackelford and sister Barbara (Jeffery) Brooks. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald R. Shackelford and a brother Billy Ray Cavender.
