Bernard L McCartney, age 76, of Montgomery, IL died Friday, June 12, 2015 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born May 18, 1939 in Maple Park, IL the son of the late Joseph L and Marian (Johnson) McCartney. He is survived by a daughter Shelley (Rick) Kennamore of Kingston Springs, TN, two sons Greg (Debbie) McCartney of Yorkville, IL, Steve (Susan) McCartney of Montgomery, IL, seven grandchildren Brian (Rachael) Kerby, Drew (Nicci Schultz) Carrington, Scott McCartney, Jordan McCartney, Ben (Krista) Potts, Katie Dance, Cody Kennamore, four great grandchildren Easton, Oakley, Logan and Rylee, sister Janice Pemberton, brother Bill McCartney, also several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Sharon Louise (Massier) McCartney in 2005, a sister Rosemarie Brengman and three brothers Jim and Jerry McCartney and Ernie Bensen.
