Benjamin Ray Dennis, age 68, of Montgomery, Illinois peacefully passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019 at his residence. He was born June 12, 1950 in Danville, IL, the son of the late Clark Edward and Helen Elizabeth nee Keele Dennis. Prior to his retirement, Ben worked for Lucent Technologies as a Tester. In his spare time he enjoyed taking motorcycle trips and working as a DJ and karaoke host. He loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years Linda, children Tim (Sharon) Dennis of CO, Nick (Shannon) Dennis of Montgomery, IL, grandchildren Samantha & Steven Dennis, Nicholas, Stacy & Kyle Dennis, step-grandchildren Johnny, Clayton "Bubba" & Promise Hill, Koralyn and Kallyn Johnson, great-grandson Michael Starr and a brother Clark (Dee) Dennis of TN. He was preceded in death by a brother Edward Clark Dennis in infancy, sisters Nancy, Sally and Mary and mother-in-law Wilma Richardson. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, February 15, 2019 from 3:00 pm until a memorial service at 7:00 pm at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S.
