Barton L "Bartman" Washington, 66, of Aurora formerly of Montgomery, IL Died Monday, October 28, 2024, after a prolonged battle with diabetes.

He was born February 23, 1958, in Aurora, IL, the son of the late Robert and Arlene (Carter) Washington.

He was a member of the Class of 1976 of West Aurora High School. He was an entertainer known as The Bartman and The King of Karaoke. He was an avid Chicago Cub fan and was especially proud and loved his family.

Survivors include his daughter Amanda (Ehsan) Maleki, son Garrett (Ashlie) Washington, four grandchildren Adrian Washington, Alia Nilles, Monroe Washington, Reagan Washington, two sisters Katherine (Wallace) Falkner, Tina Washington, three brothers Jack Washington, Bruce (Margie) Washington, Robert Washington, also several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Tammy Washington, two sisters Ollie Wells, Darlene Washington and a brother Calvin Washington.

A gathering and Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2024 from 12 Noon - 3:00 P.M. at the Dunn Family Funeral Home with Crematory, 1801 South Douglas Road, Oswego, Illinois 60543.

Cremation was accorded the wish of the family.
