Barbara E. Rot, 75, of Oswego, passed away on October 27, 2016 in Naperville. She was born July 15, 1941 in Park Rapids, Minnesota, to the late Elden and Eloise nee Rogers Johnson. She married Donald Rot on June 2, 1962 in Western Springs, and attended Harvest New Beginnings Church in Oswego. Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Donald; two daughters Ellen (Jeff) Prentice and Karen (Don) De Boer; three grandchildren Brittany and Stephanie Prentice, and Tyler De Boer; one brother David (Ethel) Johnson; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 12:00 P.M. - 4:00 P.M. at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 Douglas Road, Oswego, Illinois, 60543. A funeral service will be on Monday, October 31, 2016 at 11:00 am. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Clarendon Hills Cemetery in Darien, Illinois.
