Barbara Ann Pierson, age 64, of Newark, IL died Monday, January 4, 2021 at her residence with her family at her side. She was born October 16, 1956 in Jamaica, NY. She attended Joliet Junior College receiving an Associate degree in horticulture. Her love for flowers was shown in her ownership of Summersweet Farm Greenhouse in Newark, IL. She was also the Vice President/Secretary of D&B Cement in Newark, IL. She is survived by her loving husband Drew Pierson, a daughter Jenny (Michael) Platt, two sons Mike Pierson, Matthew Pierson; three grandchildren Christa Pierson, Zachary Platt, Kayte Platt; parents Kurt J and Frieda R (Mayer) Wolf; two brothers Kurt (Penny) Wolf, Kevin (Jan) Wolf, also nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
