Barbara L. (Nee Norris) Martner, age 77, of Montgomery, IL, passed away on the morning of Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at her residence with her family by her side. She was born September 19, 1938 in Aurora, IL, the daughter of John C. and Helen L. nee Eye Norris. Barbara was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Oswego, IL. She was a 1956 graduate of Madonna High School. Barbara worked in personnel at Aurora National Bank, retiring in 1987. Barb was a beloved wife, mother, grandma, and sister. She was a dear friend, cousin, and daughter. We love you now and forever. Even though your body has given up this world, you will live forever in our hearts. Your spirit has shaped us, you have guided us and loved us. Although we will miss you dearly in our day to day lives, we will keep you alive in our memory and through our own lives. Alan Martner of Montgomery, IL, children Kim Jackson of Sugar Grove, IL, Kathi Turner of Montgomery, IL, Tina (Eric) Johns of Oswego, IL, Michael (Deena) Jobe of Downers Grove, IL, Chris (Kathrin) Turner of Estes Park, CO, step- children Jill (Randy) Harker of Yorkville, IL, Joe Martner of Aurora, IL, grandchildren Megan (Matt) Chionis, Mitchell Turner, Heather (Rich) Fisher, Sarah Johns, Joshua Jobe, Jaclyn (Chris) Irby, Aspen Turner, John & Danny Harker, Jordan & Brooklyn Martner, great-grandchildren Layla & Tyler Irby, sister Pat (Bernie) Deutsch of St. Charles, IL, and many nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her father John Norris, mother Helen Johnson, step father Arthur Johnson, daughter Jacki Rieckert, step-son Michael Martner and nephew John Deutsch. Visitation will be Sunday, December 27, 2015 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, December 28, 2015 at 10:00 AM, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego, IL 60543 with Msgr.
