Barbara Jane Emerson, age 75, of Oswego, IL, peacefully passed away with her son by her side on Friday, December 20, 2019 at Symphony of the Tillers in Oswego, IL. She was born November 11, 1944 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Harold and Mildred nee Reise Geeterslou. Barbara was a homemaker and loved to take care of her son and grandchildren. She is survived by her son Mark (Sharon Monzel) Emerson, grandchildren Michael Emerson, Melissa Emerson, sister Karen Geeterslou, brother James Geeterslou and the father of her son Gary Emerson.
