Died: May 30, 2022, at Cedarhurst Assisted Living and Memory Care in Yorkville, IL. Proceeded in death by her son, John Christopher and parents, Joseph, and Betty Riska. Devoted wife of 67 years to John (Johnny) Palatine. Married on July 23, 1955, at Maternity BVM Catholic Church in Chicago. Loving mother to Laura Arlene (Palatine) Monforton (Steven), and John George Palatine (Elizabeth). Proud grandmother of 5 to Christopher (Ashley) Monforton, Nicole Monforton, Cameron, Annalise, and Nicholas Palatine. Loving great grandmother to Carter and Charlotte Monforton. Arlene enjoyed traveling the country by camper trailer with her husband John, making it to all 50 states. They enjoyed many campfires with good friends who shared their love of camping. Arlene was a breast cancer survivor and an avid reader. In her later years Arlene enjoyed being a snowbird in Naples, Florida during the winter months. Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Dunn Family Funeral Home with Crematory, 1801 S. Douglas Rd.
