Arlene Victoria (Pelech) Hodges, age 76, of Montgomery, IL died peacefully at her home on Saturday, April 29, 2017 surrounded by her devoted family. She was born March 14, 1941 in Chicago, IL the daughter of the late Matthew Pelech and the late Irene nee Derus Jochheim.
Arlene was a member of Calvary Church in Naperville, IL. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved to travel, sew, and cross stitch.
Arlene is survived by two daughters Denise Fisher of Montgomery, IL, Susan Torres of Oswego, IL, a son David Hodges of Crown Point, IN, eight grandchildren Shannon (Jeff) Cox, Heather Fisher, Emily Miller, Jake, Nick, and Ben Torres, Samuel and Sydney Hodges, three great grandchildren Zoe, Nash and Alexis Cox, great great granddaughter Ariel Ambrose, four brothers Wally (Pam) Pelech of AR, Gary (Denise) Pelech of KY, Carl (Bonnie) Painter of Lake Villa, IL, Bill Painter of FL, also several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Franklin D Hodges, three brothers, and her parents.
Visitation will take place from 2:00 PM until the funeral service at 3:00 PM on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Calvary Church 9S200 State Route 59 Naperville, IL. Burial will follow at Oswego Cemetery in Oswego, IL.
