Archie Hubbard Jr., 72 of Montgomery, passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 at his residence. He was born December 27, 1948 in Oak Hill, Ohio, son of the late Archie and Louise nee McGlone Hubbard. Archie was an Army veteran of Vietnam. He was employed at Caterpillar in Montgomery for 30 years and was a member of the V.F.W. of Montgomery Post #7452. He enjoyed hunting, camping, golfing and roller skating, and was a classic car enthusiast. Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Willyne nee Drees; two sons, Steven (Erika) Hubbard of Live Oak, Texas and Joseph (Michelle) Hubbard of Grant Park, IL; six grandchildren: Johnathan, Alexias, Nathan, Ayriel, Alan and Branden; one sister, Lorie Boggs of Edinburg, TX; Brother-in-Law Robert Drees of Montgomery and Sister-in-Law Brenda Hubbard of Jackson, Ohio; aunt and uncle, Rex and Janice Stover of Tennessee; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; his two brothers, Tom and Rick Hubbard; his sister, Kathy Drees; and his brother-in-law, Gene Boggs. Visitation will be held Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Rd., Oswego, IL 60543. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 20, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Lincoln Memorial Park.
