Ann L. Hinshaw, age 76, of Yorkville, IL, peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family at her residence on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.

She was born January 20, 1947 in Rochester, PA, the daughter of the late Elvis Eugene and Margaret Avaline nee Kennedy Cornelison.

Ann was a US Army/US Airforce brat having attended 9 different schools and lived in 8 different states, even living in England as a child. Ann married Gene Insco in 1963 and the union produced three beautiful children Brian, Patrick and Ashly. Ann was married for a second time to Timothy Hinshaw in 1989 and from that union came Falin.

She graduated from Waubonsee Community College in 1980 with an Associate's degree in Applied Science and her RN. She worked at Rush-Copley Medical Center (Copley Memorial Hospital) from 1980 until her retirement in 2016. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Applied Science from the College of St. Francis in 1996. Ann was eternally grateful for all the wonderful memories.

She is survived by her husband of over 30 years Tim, children Patrick (Amy) Insco, Ashly (Betsy Glowinski) Insco, Falin (Jake) Butler. Her grandchildren, Lindsay Insco, Riley Insco, Rori Insco, Anna Droste-Glowinski, Donnie, Sam and Ben Glowinski and Nathan and Blakely Butler, eight great grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews and her two sisters Jane Strange and Carolyn Strader.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Brian Insco, grandson, David Insco and brother Joseph Cornelison.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 12:00 PM (Noon) until 4:00 PM at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 1801 S. Douglas Road, Oswego, IL 60543.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
