Angel Sabrina Marie Welter-Ledesma Age 20 at rest June 5, 2023.

Angel was born on April 5, 2003, in Kankakee, IL the daughter of Melissa Ledesma and Daniel Welter. Angel was sober for almost eight months where her light and smile had come back to life after a three-year battle with heroin. Angel and her mother had a very special relationship, her mom was there for phone calls and texts and to take her to all her appointments and rehabilitation. Going through her messages she always told everyone her mom was her safe place. If anyone is struggling with addiction, please reach out for help it is available.

Angel is survived by her mother Melissa Ledesma and father Daniel (Hope Ames) Welter, Siblings Bridget White (Jordan Hernandez), Daniel Aiden Welter, Jason Daniel Welter, Step siblings; Alexis Benson, Joe Farris and Jackson Welter, Niece whom she adored Camila Hernandez, special friend, Casey Polka and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Stella Olavesen, paternal grandparents, Pamela Royalty and Danny Boy Welter, Her name's sake, Sabrina Marie Zacharias.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Pomegranate Restaurant 55 S. Commons Drive Aurora, IL 60504.

In lieu of flowers donations to the family would be appreciated and will be later be distributed to a foundation for Opiate awareness.

Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY.
