Andy Galapon Villanueva, 65 years, of Montgomery, IL died surrounded by his family on Thursday, July 23, 2015 at the home of his daughter. He was born February 4, 1950 in the Philippines.
He was employed for fourteen years in the maintenance department of the Kane County Sheriff's Department and had previously worked at All-Steel Equipment Co in Montgomery, IL for fourteen years. After retirement he enjoyed playing golf, fishing, traveling and especially to Hawaii to visit his beloved grandchildren and family.
He is survived by two daughters Amy (Adam) Bauer of Hilo, HI, Tara Villanueva of Aurora, IL, two grandchildren Lucas and Andrew Bauer both of Hilo, HI, his mother Caridad Villanueva of Pearl City, HI, sister Aida (Lowell) Tunac of Waipahu, HI, five brothers Eliseo, Oscar, Roman, Alfredo and Rudy Villanueva all of HI, the mother of his children Diana Villanueva of Montgomery, IL, also several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Permito Villanueva.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 Douglas Road Oswego, IL. A liturgical wake service will be conducted at 7:45 PM at the funeral home.
Visitation, funeral service and interment will take place on August 18, 2015 at Valley of the Temple in Kaneohe, HI
Burial will take place at Valley of the Temple Cemetery in Kaneohe, HI.
