Allan John Byrd, age 75, of Aurora, IL, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Elmwood Terrace Healthcare Center in Aurora, IL.

He was born July 11, 1947 in Chicago, IL, the son of Chester and Jean Klimes Byrd.

Allan worked many years in the restaurant industry until his retirement. In his spare time he enjoyed antiquing, collecting artwork and classic cars.

He is survived by his wife M. Jane Dubord Byrd, whom he married on July 12, 1969, his daughter Nicole (Gunnar) Davis, son Noel Byrd, grandchildren Tyler (Janelle) Davis, Gavin Davis and Chelsea Davis and one great-granddaughter Kennedy Davis.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

All services will be private.
