Alex Cosma,81, of North Aurora, IL peacefully went to be with Jesus on Sunday, June 24, 2018 in Naples, Fl. He was born on September 7, 1936 in Romania, the son of Vasile and Floare Cosma. In 1961, he married his amazing wife of 56 years, Lotica Plosca, in Romania. They immigrated to the United States on September 20, 1973 along with his 3 children, John, Lena and Margi. They have lived in North Aurora for over 30 years, yet spending winters in Naples, Florida with their daughter, Lena, and her family for the past 12 years. Alex was hardworking and dedicated to his faith and family. He was a man after God's own heart and left a deep legacy for his friends and family. Having strong faith, he loved others and wanted everyone to know of God's eternal gift of salvation. Even during the past 20 years of many painful health hardships, he remained faithful to the Lord til the very end. He is no longer in pain as he is now in the presence of God. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Lotica Cosma, his son John (Oana) Cosma of North Aurora, IL, daughter Lena (Gabriel) Barry of Naples, FL, and daughter Margi (Jim) Terpstra of Winfield, IL, grandchildren Grayson Barry, Sebastian Cosma, Christopher Cosma, Paige Terpstra and Sydney Terpstra, sister Eleanor (Alex) Marchis, brother, Victor (Vicki) Cosma, sister Florence (Louis) Moga, brother Louis (Florence) Cosma, numerous nieces and nephews and their children along with countless friends that were his extended family. Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018, 9am - 11am followed by a funeral service at Calvary Church West, 1600 Beta Drive, Sugar Grove, IL 60554.
