Alec James Madsen, 22, of Oswego, IL died suddenly Tuesday, October 11, 2016. Born on September 11, 1994 in Winfield, IL. Alec enjoyed being on the Oswego East Boys Bowling team, where he finished 8th All conference. He is a 2013 graduate of Oswego East High School. He then went on to earn his Fire Science Certification from Del Mar College, Corpus Christi, TX. He is survived by his parents Kevin R and Denise K (Neely) Madsen, a brother Josh Madsen, maternal grandfather Gerald Neely, many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his soulmate of over 4 years, Alexis Zitella. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother (Punkin) Frances Neely, paternal grandparents Harold and Marjorie Madsen. Visitation will take place on Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 12 Noon to 5:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 S Douglas Rd Oswego, IL. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 12 Noon at St. Petronille Parish, 420 Glenwood Ave., Glen Ellyn, IL 60137.
