It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Aldo Pierotti, of Oswego, IL, native of Bagni Di Lucca, Italy.

At rest on February 21, 2023, at Rush Copley Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

He was born May 8, 1934, age 88, the son of the late Giuseppe and Maria nee Talenti Pierotti and late loving brother Dilio Pierotti.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, he was cherished and loved by many. He was a man of great faith who adored spending quality time with his family. Aldo was known for his hard work ethic in the business he co-owned, Ann's Original Figurines in Northlake, IL.

Beloved husband of Maria nee Galassini; loving father of Laura (Jim) Bukowski, Lisa (Ron) Childers, Linda (Mark) Smarto; proud grandfather of Jamie (Greg) Chipman, Geena Bukowski, Sara (Al) Riley, Miles and Luke Childers, Julia, Krista and Amelia Smarto; great grandfather of Trevor and Layla Chipman, and Archer Riley, dear brother-in-law of Elia Pierotti and Frank (Sue) Galassini, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023, 9:00 A.M. until time of prayers at 10:30 A.M. at DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 S. Douglas Road Oswego, IL 60543.

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. at St. Anne Catholic Church 551 Boulder Hill Pass Oswego, IL 60543. Interment will be held privately at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Association for Down Syndrome 1460 Renaissance Drive, Suite 102 Park Ridge, IL 60068. An organization that was very close to Aldo's heart.
