Albert Wayne "Al" Wolf, age 81, of Oswego, IL, peacefully passed away on March 31, 2019 at Autumn Leaves of Oswego, IL. He was born January 3, 1938 in Aurora, IL, the son of Albert Walter and Ethel Arlene nee Davis Wolf. Al proudly served his country in the US Air Force. After his service, Al worked for several companies including Western Electric, Stephen-Adams, DynaWeld, Batavia Enterprises and finally retiring from Finishes Unlimited in Sugar Grove, IL. In his spare time, Al enjoyed photography, Saturday night late model dirt track races in the summer and building radio controlled boats and planes. Al traveled the world to such places as the Caribbean, Panama to see the canal, Hawaii and Alaska. He also enjoyed being involved with his grandchildren's activities from hockey to wresting to gymnastics. His favorite place to visit was Disneyworld, where he could spend time with his family. He was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Oswego, IL. He is survived by his wife of almost 60 years Judith "Judy" Wolf, his mother Ethel Wolf, sons Bryan, Douglas and Michael (Christina) Wolf, grandchildren Branden, Isabelle & Zachary Wolf, Kennith & Ryan Johnston, great-grandchildren Emmett & Cody Johnston and his brother Thomas (Sharon) Wolf. He was preceded in death by his father and his brother John Wolf. Cremation was performed in accordance to Al's wishes. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choosing.
