Alan Lee Branaman, age 71, of Oswego, IL passed away on Friday, July 3, 2015 at Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL. He was born August 24, 1943 in Chicago, IL, the son of Harold and Lillian nee Stewart Branaman. Alan proudly served his country in the US Navy from 1960 to 1966 as a Bombardier Navigator. After his service, he worked many years as a millwright for Reynolds Aluminum Company and retired in 1994. He was an avid woodworker, enjoyed aviation shows and NHRA racing. He is survived by his wife Kathleen (Brady) Branaman of Oswego, IL, children Carrie (Dan) Guilfoil of Lockport, IL, Patrick (Ponciana) Branaman of Davenport, IA, Kristin Branaman of Braidwood, IL, Samantha Branaman of Oswego, IL, 9 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Michael Branaman and a brother Harry Branaman.
