Judith Ann nee Lyman Brown, age 80, of Aurora, IL, peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020 at Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, IL.
She was born June 5, 1939 in Ottumwa, IA, the daughter of Robert and Nell nee Weinger Lyman.
Judith proudly served her country in the US Air Force. Following her service Judith worked as a secretary in various businesses. She was a member of St. John Episcopal Church in Naperville, IL. She was very active at the American Legion Post #75 in Geneva, IL and Oswego Post #675. She was also a member of the Twins Club. In her spare time she could be found at the Oswego Senior Center or volunteering at the Special Olympics or the Paramount Theatre in Aurora, IL.
She is survived by her children Kevin Brown, Melissa Brown-Webster, Michael (Judy) Brown, grandchildren Michael (Jenna) Brown, Becca Brown, Tyler Webster, Brandon Webster, Kurt Skinner, Kodie (John) Norris, Bianca Brown, Mathew Brown, great-grandchildren Alex Portillo, Michael Brown III, Carter Brown, Kamden Brown, Grayson Brown, Chase Brown, brother John (Sharon) Lyman and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Martha Lyman and Mary Ellen Stephens.
Burial with military honors will be held January 28, 202 , 11:30 a.m. at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
