George Peter Hasapis, age 38, of Yorkville, IL died suddenly on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. He was born August 15, 1979 in Melrose Park, IL. George and his brother were the managing partners of Smokey's in Yorkville, IL. He was a member of St Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church in Aurora, IL. George is survived by his loving family parents Elias J and Christina (Bozonelos) Hasapis, brother Patrick (Sultan) Hasapis of Lisle, IL, sister-in-law Tina Hasapis, nephews John and Jacob Hasapis, along with many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will take place on Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the DUNN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY 1801 Douglas Road Oswego, IL. Trisagion service will be held at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St Athanasios Greek Orthodox Church 1855 5th Ave Aurora, IL 60504.
